Droids
Here's a game I made in 2013 when Flash technology was still alive and kicking. I revitalized it by exporting it to HTML5 since I still find it fun to play. I was never happy with the background graphics in the main scene so I added a nice, endless and seamless scrolling background that's nothing to sneeze at. Take control of a MOUSE-CONTROLLED spaceship, flying solo in a dangerous universe filled with spinning asteroids and deadly alien spaceships. You have an endless supply of photon torpedoes and auto-fire, but you're seriously outnumbered. Still, with some practice, you might just make it. The game includes a defensive shield and offers unlimited scoring potential. As your score increases, the game automatically ramps up the difficulty. The gameplay is straightforward, yet addictive. Plus, there are aliens that, after being hit a few times, drop power-ups for you to collect when your shield energy is getting below 20 %.
The object of the game is to destroy as many asteroids and alien spaceships as possible, and keep your ship in space as long as possible. Use your MOUSE to maneuver your ship through space while auto-firing photon torpedoes. When an asteroid is hit, it may just break up into smaller pieces, or it may be completely pulverized. When an alien spaceship is destroyed, it usually drops a space mine on you. Also, when moving at you, it may be firing torpedoes at you. Use your LEFT mouse button to activate your defensive shield!
